Gig Message (“we,” “us,” or “our”) values your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have when using the Gig Message mobile application (the “App”). This policy is designed to align with the App Store “App Privacy” disclosures you see on our App Store product page.

When you use the App, we collect the following information:

If you sign in with Apple, Apple may share your email (and optionally your name) with us. We store only what is needed to operate your account.

How We Use Your Information

We do not use your information for third-party advertising, developer advertising/marketing, cross-app tracking, or analytics.

Sharing of Information

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share data only with our service providers as necessary to run the App (e.g., Google Firebase for authentication and cloud storage) and as required by law.

Data Storage & Security

We use Firebase Authentication and Firebase Firestore to store and manage your data. These services provide industry-standard security; data is encrypted in transit and at rest. No system is 100% secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.

Data Retention & Deletion

We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the App. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us at support@GigMessage.com. After verification, we will delete your account data within a reasonable timeframe, subject to any legal obligations.

Children’s Privacy

The App is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, please contact us to request deletion.

International Users

Your information may be processed and stored on servers located outside your state or country. By using the App, you consent to such transfer.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes to the App or legal requirements. If changes are material, we will update the “Last updated” date and, when appropriate, provide additional notice in-app.
